Part 45

Sunday, March 1, 2026, 7:52PM:  Bobo is going strong! She turned 5 years old at 10:00AM this morning and now does all of her activities. I managed to wash her face and give her a bath, but then had to pause her for a few hours while I took a nap this afternoon. Teddy will be turning 99 tomorrow! I am so proud to have kept him going *this* long. Yay! He's a very cute little guy.

Monday, March 2, 2026:  A lot happened today! Teddy and Bobo awoke at their normal times of 7AM and 9AM. Then late this morning Shawn and I started our Osutchi Mesutchi pairs together via an online group hatching! I will be keeping track of Milk (osu) and Sugar (mesu) over on My Osutchi Mesutchi Page. They were hatched at 10:59AM, and got off to a bit of a rocky start due to being out on the go all morning, bringing Matthew to his appointment and then a trip to Foodland. They are very hearty little ones from what I remember, so I'm not worried. One of the things I love most about these wedding Tams is that they come in beautiful designs, and have very light, fairy like beeping sounds. It is also quite a bit of mystery as to which characters you'll get in the first couple of generations.

Tuesday, March 3, 2026:  Well I seem to be off to a good start with Milk and Sugar, although I did miss a discipline call last night when I was preoccupied with RL stuff. Other than that they're in good shape! As for Bobo, I've been keeping her on the strict regime of discipline followed by bath/face washing several times a day. I hope this will bring a new character! Last of all we have Teddy who celebrated his 100th birthday today! He will remain 99 yr on the stat menu, but I will keep track of his age on my GigaPet Koala page.

Late this afternoon/early this evening I took all of my vpets (except Bobo who stayed at home watching TV) and went out for dinner with Matthew. I ended up feeling unwell and had to take my meal home with me, but it was still nice to get out for a little while. I'm feeling a little better now! I definitely missed more discipline calls on my Osu/Mesu, but at least they went to bed with full hearts!

Wednesday, March 4, 2026:  I had forgotten how quickly the Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams mature! This afternoon shortly after 1PM Milk changed into an obotchi, followed shortly after by Sugar becoming an ojotchi--the healthy teens! Yay! Their discipline meter has gone down to empty....likely because I missed *so* many calls when they were mohitamatchi's, hehe. This afternoon they've gotten to see snow falling for the first time! It's nothing like the storms we had in February, but it is *very* (to me) pretty out there right now.

Well......I won't say much about the boring, poorly-made movie, "The House of Yes" (1997), starring Parker Posey (pretending to be Jackie Kennedy), Freddie Prinze Jr. and Tori Spelling, which we (vpets and Binks) watched this evening. Teddy was the only one to make it through the full movie as the rest of my vps fell asleep at 9PM. The movie *finally* ended at 9:06. :-P Bedtime soon.

Friday, March 6, 2026:  Bobo changed into the character of Jasper at 1PM this afternoon. I'd been so diligent about giving him regular baths and face washing.... I thought for sure I'd get a different character. .::sigh::.

Milk and Sugar are still in the obotchi/ojotchi (healthy teen) stage! They've been very easy-going, and I'm able to go hours without needing to check on them--a nice change from what I am used to with re-release Tams! I can't recall what age they will change into adulthood, but it will be sometime this weekend for sure. They are *so* cute in this stage, and I find myself looking forward to winning the game with them, so I can watch ojotchi do her happy dance, up on one toe. very very cute!

I brought my vpets along for my counselling session today, but kept them in my 3DS case with the sound off. My therapist relocated to this *really* nice wellness center! I'm going to be looking into more of the things they have to offer (massage therapy, naturopathy, art therapy, and more that I can't think of right now). I think this will be very helpful to my mental health.

Saturday, March 7, 2026, 6:30PM:  Milk and Sugar reached maturity this afternoon, becoming the characters bunbutchi and bunkotchi, the ones pictured on the packaging. This makes sense since I gave them both the exact same level of care. I was a hovering parent, and ignored *a lot* of discipline calls. I am looking forward to marrying them tomorrow! We shall see what kind of babitchi they have! Shawn made a very impressive mating chart, but I've decided that I'm going to let tomorrows big event be a surprise. I've been showing them old Ricki Lake episodes on YouTube this evening. I wonder if this will effect what kind of babitchi they produce? :-P

Sunday, March 8, 2026, 10:03AM:  Daylight Saving Time began today, and now the longer (brighter) days of spring will begin! However we still have *a lot* of snow on the ground, and the temperature has been in the negative. Shortly before 9:30AM the blessed event, the marriage of Milk and Sugar took place. I carefully connected them and made sure not to let go of their eggs until the mating ritual was complete. They produced a healthy pair of baby Tams--tsubutchi! I've named the babies Lemon and Ginger in keeping with the theme of tea/coffee drinks. They look so cute together with their resepective parents. I'm glad they stay with the children for a couple of days before moving onto the next generation. With all the terrible things going on in the world, I've been *trying* to cut back on true-crime and mainstream media related stuff the last few days....and I'm much better off for it! I try to keep these entries as light hearted and whimsical as possible...but I can't help but look at the bad/scary stuff at times. I guess this is why I take such comfort in fun and cute things; like Tamagotchi, virtual pets, and video games--I am a millennial, after all. :-p

This evening we (humans and vps) watched the incredibly long, tense, and at times - upsetting psychological thriller film, "Disclosure" (1994), starring Michael Douglas and Demi Moore. Now I'm going to break the rules and listen to Julez with TC most recent livestream.

I forgot to mention that I am going to attempt TMP Regression with my Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams. I will have to wait until after the parents leave the children. I will be doing it the humane way--no discipline. More on that in the coming week! Bedtime now.

Wednesday, March 11, 2026:  Last night, at 12 midnight, I turned on the lights to watch Milk and Sugar depart. They woke from their beds and stood over Lemon (son) and Ginger (daughter) for five minutes, until 12:05AM, when they vanished from the screen, and the babies were left alone--sleeping soundly. They will remain tsubutchi's for the next 24 hours, after which I am hoping they'll revert back to TMP1. I've been ignoring discipline calls and making care mistakes (sacrilege) in hopes of achieving this. I fear neglecting them *too* much...! I hope I don't kill them.... :-/

Saturday, March 14, 2026:  Lemon and Ginger are doing well! I ended up with the TMP2 children named hyurutchi a few days back. I took good care of Lemon, but neglected Ginger *a lot*. It paid off because she regressed back to TMP1! Lemon is now the TMP2 teen named hikotchi, and Ginger is an ojotchi! Yay! They look so cute together. I'm taking good care of them again now. It wasn't easy neglecting the poor things!

Monday, March 16, 2026:  Well, I've not said much, if anything at all about Teddy or Bobo, who are still with me at 113 and 20 years of age! I had no idea I would get the Komputer Koala to live so long....! Not that I'm complaining. He is just the cutest little guy. Bobo is spending most of his days watching TV. :-P I've been focusing most of my caretaking energy on my My Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams.

Over the past week my vpets have been reading and watching along to a lot of art history, centering around the rise and fall of Edie Sedgwick, the 1960's Silver Star of New York City! It's a sad subject...but very interesting at the same time. I love anything 1960's/70's related, and this has *really* captured my attention. We've also been listening to a lot of songs by Beach House: "PPP", "Silver Soul", "Girl of the Year" (dedicated to Edie), "Walk in the Park", "Wherever you Go", "The Hours", and "Somewhere Tonight".

On the video game front, they've been watching me play long hours of the new Nintendo Switch 2 game, "Pokemon Pokopia"! It's a life simulation game where you explore a world in which humans and Pokemon once lived together. Very, very cute game! I've not been venturing out of the apartment much lately....but I've had plenty to keep me occupied. Best of all I had a nice visit with Mom today.
