Part 45
Sunday, March 1, 2026, 7:52PM: It's Monday, March 2, 2026: A lot happened today! Teddy and Bobo awoke at their normal times of 7AM and 9AM. Then late this morning Shawn and I started our Osutchi Mesutchi pairs together via an online group hatching! I will be keeping track of Milk (osu) and Sugar (mesu) over on My Osutchi Mesutchi Page. They were hatched at 10:59AM, and got off to a bit of a rocky start due to being out on the go all morning, bringing Matthew to his appointment and then a trip to Foodland. They are very hearty little ones from what I remember, so I'm not worried. One of the things I love most about these wedding Tams is that they come in beautiful designs, and have very light, fairy like beeping sounds. It is also quite a bit of mystery as to which characters you'll get in the first couple of generations. Tuesday, March 3, 2026: Well I seem to be off to a good start with Milk and Sugar, although I did miss a discipline call last night when I was preoccupied with RL stuff. Other than that they're in good shape! As for Bobo, I've been keeping her on the strict regime of discipline followed by bath/face washing several times a day. I hope this will bring a new character! Last of all we have Teddy who celebrated his 100th birthday today! He will remain 99 yr on the stat menu, but I will keep track of his age on my GigaPet Koala page. Late this afternoon/early this evening I took all of my vpets (except Bobo who stayed at home watching TV) and went out for dinner with Matthew. I ended up feeling unwell and had to take my meal home with me, but it was still nice to get out for a little while. I'm feeling a little better now! I definitely missed more discipline calls on my Osu/Mesu, but at least they went to bed with full hearts! Wednesday, March 4, 2026: I had forgotten how quickly the Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams mature! This afternoon shortly after 1PM Milk changed into an obotchi, followed shortly after by Sugar becoming an ojotchi--the healthy teens! Yay! Their discipline meter has gone down to empty....likely because I missed *so* many calls when they were mohitamatchi's, hehe. This afternoon they've gotten to see snow falling for the first time! It's nothing like the storms we had in February, but it is *very* (to me) pretty out there right now. Well......I won't say much about the boring, poorly-made movie, "The House of Yes" (1997), starring Parker Posey (pretending to be Jackie Kennedy), Freddie Prinze Jr. and Tori Spelling, which we (vpets and Binks) watched this evening. Teddy was the only one to make it through the full movie as the rest of my vps fell asleep at 9PM. The movie *finally* ended at 9:06. :-P Bedtime soon. Friday, March 6, 2026: Bobo changed into the character of Jasper at 1PM this afternoon. I'd been so diligent about giving him regular baths and face washing.... I thought for sure I'd get a different character. .::sigh::. Milk and Sugar are still in the obotchi/ojotchi (healthy teen) stage! They've been very easy-going, and I'm able to go hours without needing to check on them--a nice change from what I am used to with re-release Tams! I can't recall what age they will change into adulthood, but it will be sometime this weekend for sure. They are *so* cute in this stage, and I find myself looking forward to winning the game with them, so I can watch ojotchi do her happy dance, up on one toe. I brought my vpets along for my counselling session today, but kept them in my 3DS case with the sound off. My therapist relocated to this *really* nice wellness center! I'm going to be looking into more of the things they have to offer (massage therapy, naturopathy, art therapy, and more that I can't think of right now). I think this will be very helpful to my mental health. Saturday, March 7, 2026, 6:30PM: Milk and Sugar reached maturity this afternoon, becoming the characters bunbutchi and bunkotchi, the ones pictured on the packaging. This makes sense since I gave them both the exact same level of care. I was a hovering parent, and ignored *a lot* of discipline calls. I am looking forward to marrying them tomorrow! We shall see what kind of babitchi they have! Shawn made a very impressive mating chart, but I've decided that I'm going to let tomorrows big event be a surprise. Sunday, March 8, 2026, 10:03AM: Daylight Saving Time began today, and now the longer (brighter) days of spring will begin! However we still have *a lot* of snow on the ground, and the temperature has been in the negative. Shortly before 9:30AM the blessed event, the marriage of Milk and Sugar took place. I carefully connected them and made sure not to let go of their eggs until the mating ritual was complete. They produced a healthy pair of baby Tams--tsubutchi! I've named the babies Lemon and Ginger in keeping with the theme of tea/coffee drinks. They look so cute together with their resepective parents. This evening we (humans and vps) watched the incredibly long, tense, and at times - upsetting psychological thriller film, "Disclosure" (1994), starring Michael Douglas and Demi Moore. Now I'm going to break the rules and listen to Julez with TC most recent livestream. I forgot to mention that I am going to attempt TMP Regression with my Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams. I will have to wait until after the parents leave the children. I will be doing it the humane way--no discipline. More on that in the coming week! Bedtime now. Wednesday, March 11, 2026: Last night, at 12 midnight, I turned on the lights to watch Milk and Sugar depart. They woke from their beds and stood over Lemon (son) and Ginger (daughter) for five minutes, until 12:05AM, when they vanished from the screen, and the babies were left alone--sleeping soundly. They will remain tsubutchi's for the next 24 hours, after which I am hoping they'll revert back to TMP1. I've been ignoring discipline calls and making care mistakes (sacrilege) in hopes of achieving this. I fear neglecting them *too* much...! I hope I don't kill them.... :-/ Saturday, March 14, 2026: Lemon and Ginger are doing well! I ended up with the TMP2 children named hyurutchi a few days back. I took good care of Lemon, but neglected Ginger *a lot*. It paid off because she regressed back to TMP1! Lemon is now the TMP2 teen named hikotchi, and Ginger is an ojotchi! Yay! They look so cute together. Monday, March 16, 2026: Well, I've not said much, if anything at all about Teddy or Bobo, who are still with me at 113 and 20 years of age! I had no idea I would get the Komputer Koala to live so long....! Not that I'm complaining. He is just the cutest little guy. Bobo is spending most of his days watching TV. :-P I've been focusing most of my caretaking energy on my Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams.
Over the past week my vpets have been reading and watching along to a lot of art history, centering around the rise and fall of Edie Sedgwick, the 1960's Silver Star of New York City! It's a sad subject...but very interesting at the same time. I love anything 1960's/70's related, and this has *really* captured my attention. We've also been listening to a lot of songs by Beach House: "PPP", "Silver Soul", "Girl of the Year" (dedicated to Edie), "Walk in the Park", "Wherever you Go", "The Hours", and "Somewhere Tonight". On the video game front, they've been watching me play long hours of the new Nintendo Switch 2 game, "Pokemon Pokopia"! It's a life simulation game where you explore a world in which humans and Pokemon once lived together. Very, very cute game! I've not been venturing out of the apartment much lately, but I have plenty to keep me occupied. Tuesday, March 17, 2026: Happy St. Patrick's Day! Late this morning, Lemon and Ginger changed into their adult form: Hiratchi (TMP2) and Kikotchi (TMP1). This combination of adult characters should bring me the TMP2 babitchi that I am hoping for. Yay! I will likely marry them tomorrow morning when I wake up! This evening I've been playing more "Pokemon Pokopia"--much more relaxing now that I know what I'm doing. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 9:38PM: I've been sleeping in past 10AM every day for the last week. I am determined to wake up early tomorrow! I'm just writing a quick update before bed to say that Lemon and Ginger had a successful union this morning. Ginger gave birth to two teletchi--just like I had been hoping for. After celebrating, the baby boy went over to be with his father. I've named the children Earl and Grey. Thursday, March 19, 2026: Well, as mentioned in one of my recent posts, Bobo has been spending most of her days on pause. This morning I forgot to pause her before going out the door (to bring Matthew to an appointment). When we got home, I picked her up to see she had changed into the character of Tiny! She has a skinny little body now! So cute! I am so amazed that I got a new character *this* late in the game (she is 23 today)! Tonight the vps saw segments of the film "Ciao! Manhattan" (1972) starring Edie Sedgwick. It is *not* an easy movie to watch... Once again I vow to *try* and watch happier, life-giving, uplifting shows/movies/things-in-general. I'd also like to try and get out of the apartment a little more....! Saturday, March 21, 2026: The first full day of spring and it's beautiful--and SUNNY! However...we are expecting SNOW tomorrow and every day after that for the next week....heh! Such weird weather, but all very pretty (to me). Last night Lemon and Ginger said their farewells to son and daughter. This morning Earl and Grey awoke without their parents and completely empty hearts! Eeep! I've been taking really good care of them, being a hovering parent, and making sure the hearts never fall below one--just the way I like caring for my vps. Bobo changed back into Jasper! I can't believe he is changing forms *this* late in life. He is 25 years old, and not long left....! Monday, March 23, 2026: A lot happened the last couple of days. Yesterday, Bobo beeped as usual, signaling she wanted to have the lights turned on, and then........she changed AGAIN, back into the character of Tiny. To my even bigger surprise, she turned 26 years old and didn't die! The Bobo Panda Byte is just full of mystery.... One day I will figure out this complex virtual pet. This morning I had to be up really early for an appointment with my GP, so I took all my vps including Bobo along, as I wanted to see if she would make it to 27 or not.... Sadly, while driving back home I heard the death tune coming from my 3DS case, and I knew she was gone. I didn't even get to turn the lights on for her...so she passed away in the dark. :-( I took the batteries out immediately after we got home as it was just too sad a sight to look at. I'll miss you Bobo/Jasper/Tiny!
Earl and Grey, my Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams have been a comfort. They are currently in the child stage for TMP2 (Gen3), and the character of puchitchi. So cute! They are fully disciplined and will change into teenagers sometime today or tomorrow. I'm so excited to see the TMP2 adults!! I am unsure if I want to do another TMP regression because I absolutely *hate* neglecting them. Teddy is 120 years old! Absolutely incredible that he is still here. Tuesday, March 24, 2026: The first full week of spring and we had a SNOW STORM! Weird weather, but very enjoyable for anyone who likes to go driving in it, like me, hehe. I took Earl and Grey along for the ride, and while we were waiting in the Tim Hortons drive-thru I heard changing music coming from my 3DS case. They've changed into the teen characters, moritchi and morutchi. They have little stars above their heads, which apparently represent their psychic abilities. So cute! And they have those mimitchi-looking feet that I love *so* much! They are also incredibly adorable when they win the flag game. Their hours are now 9AM-9PM which means they'll get to see more episodes of "Love Story" (2026), an anthology TV series about the courtship and marriage of JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette. I am on the first episode and absolutely LOVING it.....! It reminds me of "Sex & the City"--only even *better*.(!) Saturday, March 28, 2026: I was out running some errands with my Mom yesterday, and upon returning home, Earl and Grey had changed into the adult characters: marumimitchi and mimikotchi--my absolute favourite ones in TMP2! They are so cute, and remind me of Micky mouse and Mini Mouse.... :-) I am going to wait a couple of days before mating them.....so that I can enjoy their little company. Monday, March 30, 2026: Teddy died/left/"went home" to his eucalyptus tree this morning 7AM, at the old age of 127 years old. This is definitely my longest living virtual pet to date! Let me back up a little.... I have been totally addicted to the wonderful life simulation game, "Pokemon Pokopia", and have been playing non stop for the last three days. I was so immersed in the game that I didn't realize Teddy's health had fallen below 95, and by the time he went to bed last night it was too late to get him back up to where he needed to be. I said my farewells to him at bedtime last night, knowing he wouldn't make it. When I awoke this morning I looked on Teddy's screen to find a little koala angel. He looks so peaceful. I pressed mode to check his final stats and will post them to my Komputer Koala page, along with a picture of his cute little angel self. Teddy got to experience a lot! He was here for the end of autumn, the entire Christmas season and New Years! He helped me through a difficult time in February when I was sick with the flu. He saw all kinds of TV shows and movies, listened to lots of music, and went on lots of driving adventures. I'm going to miss you, little Teddy....! The Komputer Koala is a one of a kind GigaPet. On a much cheerier note, Earl and Grey, my Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams have been very enjoyable to have around! I finally got around to mating them this morning, and they each have little petitchocotchi's sitting beside them now. So cute! They are going to be watching me play a lot more PP!
