Ginji's Journal

Part 46

Thursday, April 2, 2026:  Earl and Grey left their children behind last night....however I missed the departure since I was already asleep. I've named the babies Harry and Sally. They are currently little petitchocotchi's. So cute! They have been doing the usual things a virtual pet does in this household: keeping me company by the computer; listening to music; watching TV in the bedroom; spending time with the stuffed animals in the game room; watching me play video games. I've been getting so much enjoyment from "Pokemon Pokopia" that I feel like starting a second file. I can't remember the last time I fell in love with a video game *this* much.

Monday, April 6, 2026:  I haven't been doing a very good job keeping up on the progress of my Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams, Harry and Sally. On April 3 (Good Friday) they changed into mizutamatchi, the TMP3 child character. Then yesterday (Easter Sunday) they changed into the teen characters, propellertchi and batabatchi. We had a very quiet Easter... I visited with Mom breifly yesterday...and plan to spend more time with her this coming week! It's a lovely spring morning here right now, allowing me to have the window open a crack in my game room, letting the fresh air in!

Wednesday, April 8, 2026:  Harry and Sally transformed into their adult forms this evening at 7:07PM during an episode of "Threes Company"! They are now the kabutchi and pipotchi characters (TMP3). So cute! I have half the mind not to mate them, and let them live out their lives like a regular Tam does...however I am tempted to do one more round (TMP4) just so I can see them transform into the oldies. They've not gotten out of the apartment much the last few days because I've been *anxious*. I'm going to pause them during counselling tomorrow.

Thursday, April 9, 2026:  Late this afternoon, Harry and Sally got to watch the ending of "Love Story: John F Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette" with me. Obviously I knew it was going to be a sad ending....but it was so well done in my opinion. I have also been listening to the score that runs throughout the show, composed by Bryce Dessner, since finishing the show this evening....such pretty, romantic instrumental pieces....! Matthew left on a trip today, so I'll be here with Binksy and Winnie hamster alone. We will be watching lots of TV and listening to music.

Saturday, April 11, 2026:  I spent time with Mom and Eileen yesterday, and we cooked fetucine alfredo! I paused Harry and Sally breifly during this time..... Once I was alone for the evening I decided to mate them, and they produced two adorable little petit-teretchi. This shall now be my last generation, and I'm going to let them grow into the old man and woman. I've decided on the names Bryce and Florence for the babies! Not much else to write about here.... I've been very sedentary. I'm currently listening to a live from Julez w/True Crime.

Saturday, April 18, 2026:  I've gotten behind on my webpages yet again, but things have been rather uneventful due to not being able to get out of the apartment very often (high anxiety). I've been spending a good amount of time each day playing "Pokemon Pokopia". As for my Osutchi & Mesutchi pair, Harry and Sally left on the early morning of the 14th. Bryce and Florence remained the babitchi (petit-teretchi) for 24 hours. On the morning of the 15th they became the child character, harutchi. Then yesterday, the 17th, they changed into the teen characters, kuribochi and pyukichi. They are very cute in this stage, and resemble a ginjirotchi in some sense...maybe because they twist around?!

Sunday, April 19, 2026:  This evening I hatched my little Morino Tamagotch (Forest Tam). His name is Potato. I hatched him from the white egg, which means he can grow into one of many different insects/bugs! He will be a baby-motchi for the next 24 hours. Right now he only eats leaves so I am unable to increase his weight just yet. It's been a *while* since I raised one of these Forest Tams. I've tapped away one predator so far--the big foot!

Bryce and Florence are still in the teenage stage. They continue to be very fun and cute little company. I took them on a walk earlier this afternoon.... It wasn't easy getting myself out of the apartment, but I did it! Now I can enjoy my evening - play video games, watch tv, and work on my webpages!

Tuesday, April 21, 2026:  Yesterday evening around supper time, Bryce and Florence transformed into their adult forms: chomametchi and chohimetchi. They shall grow old and live out their lives together without having children..... I miss how they looked in the teen stage, but they are still very cute. I'm having a great run with my Osutchi & Mesutchi. I can't wait to see what they look like as oldies!

I was sound asleep this morning when I heard Potato calling me for help. I knew there was trouble, although I couldn't tell if it was the frog or the foot. I tapped the screen to rid him of the predator and then all was okay again. ::phew:: Potato is now an imotchi, the little white grub--so cute! He eats a wider variety of food, and I am working on increasing his weight. I want him to be nice and plump for when he goes into his cocoon in a couple of days.

Friday, April 24, 2026:  We are having *crazy* weather. Yes, you guessed it, we are indeed having *another* snow storm. I had my winter tires taken off this morning, and now this happens! ::sigh:: Anyway, Potato went into his cocoon Wednesday evening, weighing 58mg. I left the temperature pointed towards the cold side....and then the next morning changed it to the hot side, where I left it for the remainder of the day. Finally, last night at 8:25PM he came out of his cocoon to be a gejitchi (centipede/millipede). He hasn't had any predator attacks since becoming an adult, but I am keeping a close eye on him, never leaving him unattended! I paused him briefly this morning when I was chatting with my cousins in the other building.

Monday, April 27, 2026:  I woke up this morning to the changing tune of my Osutchi & Mesutchi Tams, Bryce and Florence, who changed into the old man and woman. They are unmateable now....and we shall see how long they live for. They are definitely more demanding in this stage...! I raised 5 generations this time around! I will most definitely hatch them again someday. I am interested in experimenting *more* with TMP regression in the future....but I have several other Tams and vpets I want to raise first.

My Morino Tamagotch, Potato continues to be a joy! He is very easy to take care of, aside from an occasional attack from the frog, or big foot. :-P I haven't missed any attacks (yet)! ::knock wood::. He eats three kinds of foods now, the middle option (a chestnut) filling both hunger *and* happiness leaves (hearts), which comes in handy when I'm too busy to play the game (finding the hidden leaf). I hope he sticks around for a while!

I've not been sharing much with them in the way of movies or TV....but have continued to play "Pokemon Pokopia" every day. They've also gotten to listen to music, and watch me dance (rather poorly) around the apartment, heh!

Wednesday, April 29, 2026:  I've noticed that Bryce and Florence have been getting sick a lot since changing into oldies. In fact, they've been sick the last two days, requiring three doses of medicine each time. They are 16 today, and I'm unsure of how much longer they will live on for......! As for Potato, aside from some predator attacks he has been easy-going and great company. I carry him with me everywhere so I never miss an attack.

This evening they are listening to one of Julez most recent true crime reactions regarding the Idaho4! However, I may switch over to something more light hearted in a little while. We've been watching old Sally Jesse Rapheal episodes on YouTube! Matthew and I *love* her! We also enjoy Rickie Lake, Geraldo, and Donahue. Basically anything from the late 80's and early 90's. :-P We must all embrace our guilty pleasures.

Thursday, April 30, 2026, 5:43PM:  Well..... Bryce and Florence had been very demanding over the last few days, so it came as no surprise when I heard a very unfamiliar beeping while I was web-browsing just now. Florence passed away at 5:35PM, and Bryce followed shortly after that, at 5:36PM. I will miss them.....! All that remains now is a grave yard scene, which will turn into little ghosts at night time....so I will check that out later on this evening! I still need to update my Osutchi & Mesutchi webpage to document the 5 generations I raised this time around.

At least Potato, my little Morino Tamagotch is still with us! He is 10 years old, weighing 62mg. I know he won't be around for much longer since most forest Tams live very short lives....but perhaps I'll raise another one when the time comes?! I guess we will wait and see what May has in store for us.
