Part 42

Monday, November 3, 2025:  It's ! Halloween is over and done with, gone for another year...but now we have the rest of autumn to look forward to, and the transition over into Christmas season. :-) Sadly Marcel, my Microchimp GigaPet passed away this morning at the young age of 15.... I didn't do as good a job of keeping his stats up as I did with Ozzy and Tiny, thus he left at the end of two weeks. :-( I've been focusing all of my caretaking energy on Daniel, my Nano Baby who turned 1 year old yesterday. He is in the toddler stage now and has hair. He's really cute!! On the Tamagotchi front everyone is well! I've been pausing Fuchsia and Angie *a lot*. As for my GameBoy Tams, they only grow when I'm actually *playing* the game, unlike a real Tamagotchi. I've been playing every day since I began last week on Oct.27th. :-) I've decided to make a small webpage for my GameBoy Tams, and I'm also considering buying the Japanese cartridges!

Wednesday, November 12, 2025:  Daniel, my Nano Baby was reunited with his parents on Monday afternoon... I was dozed off having a nap on the couch at the time. I decided to restart my Nano Baby yesterday afternoon, and I'm raising a girl named Norma. :-) I can't wait to see what she looks like when she grows up! She's been watching me play my Tamagotchi for GameBoy game, working on my webpages, running errands, and TV watching. I've not been writing a lot lately....but I have many more vpets I want to raise. :-) My two Tams (Ginji 1&2), Fuchsia and Angie have remained on pause for the most part so far this month. I will likely fall asleep to a movie or TV show in the next hour or so once my Nano Baby falls asleep for the night....!

Thursday, November 13, 2025:  I hadn't meant to hatch another virtual pet until after I completed the Nano Baby, but I got a 1997 Thinkways Little Mermaid Virtual aquarium (what a mouthfull) from eBay, and it arrived in the mail late this morning! Guppy was born this afternoon at 12:17PM. He's so cute, and can grow into one of four adult characters! I've been keeping a close eye on Guppy....along with Norma, my Nano Baby of 1/2 YR! They've been watching along while I try to make a new webpage/splash for our newest little visitor...! Later this evening I might play some Tamagotchi for GameBoy!

Friday, November 14, 2025:  Guppy, my sweet Little Mermaid Virtual aquarium changed into the character of Flounder. I wasn't expecting him to mature so fast, but he changed right upon waking up at 7AM this morning. I wonder if he will change into one of the other 3 characters tomorrow? I am just taking things as they come with this vpet....not feeling the best today....more tomorrow.

Thursday, November 20, 2025:  I've fallen *way* behind on updating my webpages this month, but sometimes it's good to have a break from staring at the screen for long hours..! Guppy, my Little Mermaid Virtual aquarium has remained a flounder fish since last week.... I'm not quite sure what I'm doing, but it's a really fun and interactive virtual pet. You have to clean and add water throughout the day which is very unique! As for Norma, my Nano Baby, she matured into a young lady yesterday. :-) My gosh is she ever cute! She has this adorable little face, almost like a muppet. As for my two Ginji, Fuchsia and Angie--they get small amounts of time off pause each day. Fuchsia is 36 years old, one of my oldest Ginjirotchi to date! As for Angie, the Gen3's don't age past 8, which I find rather annoying, so I don't know how old she is... .::grumble::... I've not been playing any video games this month, except for a *little* bit of ACNL each day. I'm saving up my gaming energy for the Switch2 next month. The vpets have gotten to watch several movies with me over the last week. On Sun., Nov.16th they got to watch "One Fine Day" (1996) and "When a Man Loves a Woman" (1994). Last night they were asleep when I watched "Picture Perfect" (1997)....after which I ended up falling asleep too, heh! :-P They've also gotten to watch/listen to A LOT of YouTube videos, true crime podcasts, and browse the internet, Facebook, Instagram, etc.!

Sunday, November 23, 2025:  Norma, my sweet little Nano Baby completed her time with me today after 12 days (3 years Nano time). Since I raised a boy and a girl, I completed the Nano family.... I'll miss them both so much! I'd really hoped that they would have lived as long as the puppy and kitty.... As for my Little Mermaid Virtual aquarium, I now have the character of Sebastian, the little crab! I still have to get the other two characters, but it seems each one stays for a week. :-) It's a very simple little pet to raise and I'm glad I bought it!

My Tams, Fuchsia and Angie, the two Ginji are still with me....for how much longer I don't know since I've paused them both *a lot*. I've not been playing my Tamagotchi for GameBoy much this week, but hope to get back to it soon. Last night I purchased a purple Tamagotchi Paradise from EB Games which was *totally* unexpected. I never thought they'd make it to Canada! I started it up today, which happens to be the 29th anniversary of the original Tamagotchi release in Japan in 1996...very fitting! I won't be making a webpage for this one since Shawn and Katherine have the best pages out there for the Tam Paradise.

Monday, November 24, 2025:  Teddy, my Komputer Koala Gigapet was born at 7:59PM last night. This is my absolute *favourite* of all the GigaPet's. The sprites and animations are so adorable. I hope little Teddy will live a long life--maybe to age 99, who knows! I am running several other virtual pets at the moment, but my little Koala will be my main priority now! I look forward to raising this little guy throughout the holiday season....! This will also give me an excuse to do a much needed update to my Komputer Koala webpage (which I made back in 2020). He is in the child stage at the moment. I brought him with me to a Dr.'s apt first thing this AM. Then we spent much of this morning and afternoon Christmas shopping....speaking of which, while out in my travels I found the summer stain glass Tamagotchi at EB Games--I had to have it. I am going to leave it sealed in the packaging....for now. ;-)

Tuesday, November 25, 2025:  EEEK! My poor Little Mermaid Virtual aquarium, Sebastian got taken away on a fishing hook this afternoon at only 4 years of age... :-( I am waffling over whether or not to raise another character.... I should have paused him before I left to go out earlier, but I thought he'd be ok... On a cheerier note, Teddy my Komputer Koala grew bigger today! He's so cute!

Late this afternoon I started a new life on my Nano Baby! It's a boy named Zyan! :-) I really love Nano's....I missed having this one going! I still have some content to add to my Nano Page, but I've been having a hard time motivating myself to work on my webpages this month. Sometimes I just like to read, watch TV, YouTube videos, and post virtual pet photos to my social media accounts.

Thursday, December 4, 2025:  How is it already? It is time to , though we've been decorated since the middle of November. .::grin::.. On Sat., Nov.29th my poor crusty of a ginjirotchi, Fuchsia passed away at the age of 42. She remained with me in spirit through Angie, my ginji angel for a little while, but she too passed into the celestial heavens this afternoon at 1:17PM. At least I still have my Tamagotchi for GameBoy! :-) Speaking of which....my newest hatched GB Tam, Linus, transformed into a mametchi last week! This is the first time I managed to get the best adult on my GameBoy Tamagotchi. It really is a cute game! Teddy, my GigaPets Komputer Koala has been his usual adorable self! He has been fully grown for days now...and I am certain he has a long life in store for him. I managed to work on Teddy's webpage, and it's looking much nicer and put together than it was... My Nano Baby is a fully grown little man now! Though in the second stage he resembles that of a little gingerbread man...how fitting for the current time of year! :-) I brought them all along Christmas shopping twice in the last week and I think it's safe to say I am finally ready for the holidays! Such a relief...now I can enjoy the warm and cozy aspects; family, friends, the tree, the lights, and old Xmas movies...which is what Christmas *really* means to me....! Earlier this evening Donald, my God Child video called me and convinced me to play the game "Minecraft" for the first time *ever*! Cool game! Teddy is watching the movie "Home Alone" in bed with Binks and I....soon will be time for sleep!

Saturday, December 6, 2025:  Teddy is soon going to reach his advanced years, and I'll have to be extra careful not to let his health fall below 95. He will be involved in the holiday experience...! I hope I can keep him alive well into the New Year....! He is currently experiencing *cold* Atlantic Canadian winter temperatures these past couple of days....! I think it's going to be a good old fashioned "White Christmas"(!) Tonight he watched the first hour of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"...a very seasonally appropriate film! Oh yes, he has also gotten to hear A LOT of Christmas music, here at home, out on the go, driving, etc...

Monday, December 8, 2025:  A new Tam was born last night! I've named this one Smiley, as he was hatched on my "Tama Smiles" Gen1--SO cute!! This morning I popped Teddy and Smiley into my 3DS case and carted them around the mall, gas station, starbucks, and finally the grocery store, where I picked up everything we need before the snow comes. I can't wait to go out in my 4WD!

Tuesday, December 9, 2025:  Teddy has reached his advanced years at age 16, so I'm very careful not to let his health go below 95. Perhaps he will stay with us into the new year (I hope!). Smiley is still in the child stage (marutchi), age 3 yr, 10oz, and 75% disciplined. Last night they got to watch "8-Bit Christmas" (2021), a really cute and fun Christmas movie that I first discovered last year. :-)

Thursday, December 11, 2025:  Smiley changed into a tamatchi yesterday! I'd write more...but I am stressed over our Hamster, Shelly, who is not feeling well! :-( I may need to bring her to a vet. Teddy and Smiley are a comfort, but Shelly is a *real* life pet.

Saturday, December 13, 2025:  Shelly has a bacterial infection called 'wet tail' and is on antibiotics....I hope she pulls through! We are doing all that we humanly can for the little sweetie. On the keychain put front, Teddy my GigaPet Koala turned 20 years old today! This evening at 5:31PM I picked up Smiley to see that he'd changed into a ginjirotchi! I was hoping for ginji and I got one. He's my absolute favorite character, and now I'll have him with me for the holidays.

Monday, December 15, 2025:  Teddy and Smiley are enjoying the holiday season! It's going to be a quiet Christmas this year, a time to reflect and give thanks for all that we have! I don't have a big social life anymore so I take comfort in the simple things like being at home with my family, sitting by the tree, mini lights strung throughout the apartment, and watching old Christmas movies....!

Tuesday, December 16, 2025:  I kept Teddy up past his bedtime last night (until just after 10PM) so he could watch "National Lampoons Christmas Vacation" with me. Smiley went to sleep at exactly 10PM so he missed the ending. Today is Matt's birthday! We went out for dinner this evening, and then drove around looking at Christmas lights afterwards! We are home now and getting ready to watch the final episode of the Netflix documentary, "Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing". SO crazy! :-o Oh yes, for anyone wondering about our hamster, Shelly, she has made *some* improvement. This is all thanks to Matt dosing her with antibiotics, along with strict cage cleaning every day. She's really just the sweetest little hamster I've ever had....!

Thursday, December 18, 2025:  Teddy, my Komputer Koala (GigaPet) turned 25 days old today. Yay!!! Smiley, my ginjirotchi, is 12 and got sick this evening--eek! The countdown to Christmas is really on now--I need to get my gift wrapping done. I might put on a Christmas movie to watch. I'm trying to enjoy every moment of the holidays because it's going by *fast*, and then it will be 2026! At least I'll have a brand new Nintendo Switch 2 to enjoy in the New Year. :-) I'm *so* excited, but don't want to wish Christmas away!

Saturday, December 20, 2025:  Our sweet hamster, Shelly of only 3 months passed away on us early this morning....! She will be dearly missed...so hard loosing a pet, especially during the holidays. I plan to make a little memorial page for my hamsters in 2026, and I'm going to make Shelly's first! She was only with us for a short time, but she had a big impact on us. She was the most gentle of all the little ones we ever had, and she loved to eat. I'll miss you sweet girl!

Teddy and Smiley have been keeping me company this evening while I update my webpages. We've been listening to relaxing Christmas music with crackling fireplace on the TV. Tomorrow will be my families annual "Secret Santa" party, with presents, games and much more. I will probably pause Smiley since he's getting a little on the demanding side...but I'll bring Teddy along for the festivities.

Monday, December 22, 2025:  I accidentally aged Teddy 1 year by putting him to sleep during the family gift exchange last night, eek! Once I set the time back correctly he was no worse for wear....just a day older. :-) At least I know of a safe way to pause him. He is 30 years old today--really 29, but that is fine because I want him to exceed 99 years/days anyway....!! I am working towards raising the worlds longest living GigaPet! Teddy and Smiley got to watch "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" before going to sleep this evening.

Saturday, December 27, 2025:  Teddy and Smiley are still with us! They got to see lots of presents being opened Dec.24th and 25th, one of which was my Nintendo Switch 2. I still can't believe I have one! It was definitely worth the wait. :-) I've been playing long hours of "Mario Kart World" and I'm *totally* obsessed, heh! I will likely go back to playing now shortly......!

Monday, December 29, 2025:  Smiley, my 22 year old ginjirotchi went back to his home planet this evening at 7:22pm! He'd been pretty demanding, dropping hearts quickly for the last number of days, so it came as no surprise when those long beeps sounded through the room. The last thing he got to see was me doing a race in "Mario Kart World"...! Bye-bye little Smiley--we shared a lot together! I hope you enjoyed Christmas time, watching TV/movies, going on rides, playing video games, web browsing and listening to music....! At least Teddy my GigaPets Koala is still here with me. I need to figure out which Tam to hatch next!

At exactly 8:05PM Nova was born! He was hatched from a blue "Festival Sky" design Gen2 Tamagotchi. I felt this particular Tam was very fitting with New Years Eve just around the corner! :-) I am currently raising him through the shirobabitchi baby stage!
