Nano's are a line of 1997 virtual pets released by Playmates! They marketed the original 3 Nano's: Nano Baby, Nanno Kitty, and Nano Puppy. They expanded the brand to include Nano Dino, Nano Bunny, Nano Turtle, "Talking" Nano's, and Nano Fighters. They were produced by Ving Leung International Ltd. and manufactured in China. This was Oliver, my Nano Puppy who was born Thursday, August 7, 2025 and passed on from this life on Saturday, September 13 after 37 days. Nanotchi from instagram was shocked that I got a Nano to live *this* long as their record was 35! Bye-bye little Oliver, you were so sweet!

I finally got a Nano Baby!!! Daniel was born at 6:03PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

I am learning that the growth patterns that apply to the Nano Puppy and Kitty do not match up with the Nano Baby, which makes sense because it is a human themed virtual pet. Daniel turned 1 year old on Sunday, November 2, at 5:08PM. He looks more like a toddler than a baby now! He even has hair.

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 5:08PM Daniel turned 2 years old and eats noodles! He's so cute!

At 5:08PM on Monday, November 10 Daniel reunited with his parents! He spent a total of 12 days with me...! I it had lasted longer like the kitty or puppy! I am going to raise a new Nano Baby, a girl this time!

At 3:06PM on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 I've begun raising a baby girl named Norma. :-)

My Nano Dino was born at 1:39PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2025!

The Nano Dino is a great deal more demanding than the Kitty and the Puppy! He drops hunger and happiness points faster, and needs checking in on much more frequently. I made a page for my Nano Dino, Go see it here!

Notes on Nano:  Each version of Nano has the same number of days in each stage of development! The baby version randomly decides the gender of male or female at the time of being activated which I didn't know until I got mine. Nano Baby is my very first human themed virtual pet. I've always perfered the idea of raising animals than humans, but the baby version is really cute so far. :-) All Nano's go to sleep just shortly after 9:00PM and wake up at 7:00AM.
