Part 41

Thursday, October 2, 2025:  It's ! I made it through both of my appointments today! Sleep didn't come easy last night, and I was awake before sunrise (5:30AM). After my dental appointment I napped on the couch from 9AM-12:30PM. My virtual pets were no worse for wear during that time. Then they hung out in the car with my Mom while I talked with my psychiatrist this afternoon. :-) Very glad to be home now! We are watching "Something to Talk About" (1995), an old fall favorite! After that I'll be turning in for the night.

Friday, October 3, 2025:  Kitty turned 30 years old today! Yay! This morning I popped the vpets into my 3DS case and carted them around on errands. First I got Starbucks, then drove across town and picked up my prescriptions from the pharmacy. After that I decided to make a quick visit into the mall to check out EB Games. I'm *trying* to save money so I didn't buy anything today - just window shopped. :-) This afternoon Matthew and I spent time by the river and took some pictures for my Autumn Page...very nice day!

Sunday, October 5, 2025:  Tiny turned 25 years/days old today, and Kitty is still with us at 32! I also have my Devilgotch, Elm AKA Mr. Pumpkin head, age 14. I brought Kitty on another walk with us yesterday since she's the oldest of the group. We took more photos of the autumn foliage. It's been such a beautiful fall...one of the nicest in years. :-) This afternoon they watched along to several video games being played: "Mario Kart 8", "Mario Tennis" (N64), and "Spyro the Dragon" (PS1). I can't stop thinking about the Switch 2! I'm so excited to get one for Christmas!! This evening they got in a good bit of screen time, watching YouTube videos, Instagram, Facebook, etc.. Oh yes, I'm also learning *more* tid bits about html and coding!

Monday, October 6, 2025:  Well.... I let the DP go over 90 on Elm and he had a "Bad End" at 11:25AM this morning. That concludes my adventures with Devilgotch for this season...my heart wasn't really in it this year. Have fun back in Devil Land little Pumpkin head!

This afternoon at exactly 12:00PM I hatched/awakened a new Tamagotchi named Sage on my my clear orange Macy's Tamagotchi. She was named in honour of the season, with Thanksgiving just around the corner. :-) Sage is special because she is my 100th hatched re-release Tam! I'd like to raise a kutchipatchi or a ginjirotchi. In her early life she's already gotten out for a walk and enjoyed the nice weather. She has also been spending time with Tiny and Kitty up in my game room! She will definitely get out for a drive tomorrow!

Tuesday, October 7, 2025:  Kitty was gone when I awoke this morning just shortly after 8:30AM. She didn't make it as long as my Nano Puppy, but that's ok. At least she went to bed full and happy last night! Bye-bye little Kitty, I hope you enjoyed your stay with us..... Thankfully Tiny and Sage are still with us! I am hoping to get out window shopping after I finish my coffee.

Thursday, October 9, 2025:  Sage changed into a kutchitamatchi upon waking up at 9AM! I want her to be a kutchipatchi when she grows up. :-) In other news, I've been raising the Nano Dino for the first time in many years! This one is not as easy going as the Nano Puppy or Kitty.... I named him George, and made a seperate webpage for it, go see it here! As for Tiny, my GigaPet's T.Rex, he will be 30 years old tomorrow and is in perfect health.

Saturday, October 11, 2025:  Sage became a kutchipatchi this afternoon at 4:42PM. She arrived just in time for the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend! It's going to be a quiet one for us....I'm not up to attending a big gathering this year.... I know if I *really* pushed myself I could, but I just don't want the stress of social situations this holiday season. Instead I'll spend the day at home, working on my webpages, playing games, and loving my pets (living and virtual) -- a normal day in the life of a Ginji....! :-) This evening we watched the first episode of the BBC series "Film Club", staring Aimee Lou Wood and Suranne Jones. Very interesting show...!

Tuesday, October 14, 2025:  Well I've not said much about Sage in her adult life, not to mention my other two virtual pets, Tiny and George. They've been enjoying the easygoing life here at home, mostly in the living room and my game room. :-) I don't get out much these days, but when I do venture out I put them all in my 3DS case where they're safe from the elemnts! As for movies and Televesion, we watched "The Adams Family" (1991) and "Adams Family Values" (1993) the other night. I can't believe I'd never seen them before! Then two nights ago we watched "Female Trouble" (1974)--hilarious - but not for kids. I'm sure we will be watching more Halloween movies over the next couple of weeks. I've not been updating my pages as much the last few days....Then today I bought "Mario Tennis Aces" for the switch, a really fun game that I *finally* found for a decent price. I'll be playing more of it this evening as I've been busy around the apartment, cooking, cleaning, etc. I have all my chores done now so I can enjoy my night!

Thursday, October 16, 2025:  My little kutchipatchi, Sage passed away this afternoon at 2:40PM, age 11 years. I was lounging in the game room when the long series of beeps began... Bye-bye little one. I hope you enjoyed your time of gaming, TV, and web browsing! I'm going to hatch another Tam later this evening. I still have Tiny and George, my two dinos here with me...and we are heading over to my Mom's to celebrate her birthday in a couple of hours!

8:08PM: A new Tam was just born! This ones name is Fuchsia, and she resides in a lovely pink case with yellow trim & buttons (re-release gen1). I have no particular character in mind that I want to aim for, as then I loose sight of the experience, and stop enjoying the Tam for its cute self. I'm going to throw caution to the wind and never pause Fuchsia....then see who I end up with. :-) I don't plan on going out much over the coming weeks so Fuchsia will be doing a lot of web browsing, TV watching, gaming, updating of my webpages, reading, cleaning, cooking, etc.

Friday, October 17, 2025:  George, my Nano Dino of 9 years/days passed away rather suddenly this morning. Actually, I slept in until almost 9:30AM, and when I woke up he was dead. There's actually an ending on the Nano Dino - it says "END", heh. Poor little George, he wasn't an easy one to keep alive, but he had style...Bye-bye little Dino!

When I'm busy doing other things, Tiny and Fuchsia spend time in my game room with the Furbies and stuffed animals. I've been coddling Fuchsia a lot so far, hehe... I'm going to *try* not to have any expectations for my little marutchi, and not obsess over catching *every* discipline call. This evening they got to watch a documentary called "The Perfect Neighbour" on Netflix with us....!

Sunday, October 19, 2025, 5:57PM:  This evening I succumbed to the temptation to start another virtual pet, a GigaPet's Microchimp , who I've named Marcel. I've owned this one since 1998 but could never keep it alive back then. He's really cute! :-) I love GigaPet's, and very much looking forward to raising more of them this fall/winter....! As for Tiny, he will be turning 40 tomorrow! I will keep him going as long as I can! I'd love to get one of these GigaPet's to live past 99, but that will take *a lot* of dedication... Tomorrow I plan on taking all 3 of my virtual pets with me while we (Matthew, Mom and myself) go shopping!

Wednesday, October 22, 2025:  Fuchsia changed into a ginjirotchi at 10:05AM this morning! Yay! As for my GigaPet's, I forgot how sweet and adorable the Microchimp is! Marcel is still in the infant stage, but yesterday he grew *bigger*! I wish he stayed in this cute, child stage for longer! Last night they got to watch "Bruno: The Dress Code" with us! Tomorrow we may go for a walk.

Friday, October 24, 2025:  Well I felt like having another Tam around, so I hatched a Gen3 Angel (re-release) this evening at 7:36PM named Angie! I hadn't planned on raising anymore than 3 virtual pets, but once again I convinced myself I needed *more*. On the GigaPets front, Marcel, my Microchimp is a fully grown monkey now! I'll be posting images to his webpage over the weekend. Tiny, my Baby T.Rex will be 45 tomorrow! I had my flu and covid shots today so I am feeling really foggy..... Soon time to cuddle up in bed with my vpets and watch some TV! Oh yes, I brought Fuchsia, my ginjirotchi to a Dr. appoointment, followed by a small shopping trip at the mall, earlier this morning! The GigaPet's stayed at home in the living room with the fish and hamster since I knew I wouldn't be gone very long. :-)

Sunday, October 26, 2025:  I've been pausing my two Tams, Fuchsia and Angie on and off quite a bit the last few days.....so their age is to some degree artificial. I slept *a lot* yesterday after getting the covid & flu shot combo the day before. I made a full recovery as of first thing this morning, when I woke up! :-)

Although there *is* a way to pause GigaPet's, which I found out recently from a member of the "GigaPet's and Virtual Pets of the 1990s" Facebook group, I have not been doing that with Tiny or Marcel. They've been living by the seat of their pants, and so long as I check in on them every 3-4 hours their health doesn't go down at all. I have two more GigaPet's that I want to raise this year: Digital Doggie and Komputer Koala! After that I will likely begin running the re-release GigaPets. :-) But that will be in 2026....! GigaPets take a lot of dedication, but it's worth it. They all got to watch the first and second "Ghostbusters" movies with me this past week, another franchise I'd not seen until recently. Later this week they'll get to watch us carve pumpkins! Can't wait! On the topic of Halloween, I need to remember to go and buy candy for the trick r' treaters someday this week! I don't want a repeat of last year when I FORGOT the candy....

Tuesday, October 28, 2025, 8:44PM:  Tiny died/went home to "The Lost World" at the age of 48 years/days today. Yesterday morning I slept late again.... and then spent the afternoon at Clay Cafe with Matthew. I left Fuchsia and Angie at home on pause because I knew I was going to be occupied with painting a Christmas ornament. It was a lot of fun! I kept Tiny and Marcel in my 3DS case and figured they'd be okay--and they were, for a little while. I ended up taking the longer route back home and lost track of time. I was enjoying finally being out of the apartment for the first time in so long. When we finally got home Tiny's health had gone below 95, and I was unable to get it back up before bedtime. This morning there was just a little dino angel on the screen...I posted a picture of his angel on the Baby T-Rex Page. :-) He looked so sweet and peaceful...! After that I took the batteries out and put my Baby T-Rex back in the packaging for safe-keeping. I'm sure I'll raise another one someday....!

I started playing the Tamagotchi for GameBoy game for the first time yesterday! I've owned it for over 20 years, but never played it until now--shocking I know! It's *really* cute! I'm still getting the hang of it. I accidentally sent my first Tam back to its home planet--eekk! And then I accidentally killed one of them by feeding too many snacks. I'm going to be a rebel and NOT make a page for my GB Tams....but we'll see! I haven't raised one to adulthood yet. I currently have two shirobabitchi and a tongaritchi on my file. I might play some more before bed this evening.

Wednesday, October 29, 2025:  My little clan of virtual pets have been watching me play long hours of the Tamagotchi for GameBoy game today! :-) I'm currently raising 3 Tams: Geer (a 9 year old hashizotchi), Mitts (a 6 year old masukutchi), and my newest hatched this evening - Edgar (a shirobabitchi). They're all so cute! I got so excited when I got my first adult last night! I'm looking forward to raising *more*.... I am choosing not to look at any spoilers online for the time being. I'm enjoying the game as I experience it for the first time. They also got to watch Matthew and I carve pumpkins this afternoon!

I really missed having a Nano going..so Daniel, my Nano Baby was born this evening at 6:03PM! I will be documenting his progress over on my my Nano Shrine page. I was hoping for a boy and I got one! :-) He looks just like Tommy Pickles from the show "Rugrats"...!

Friday, October 31, 2025:  Happy Halloween! I've kept busy today with my virtual pets, particularly Daniel, my newly born Nano Baby. I've been continuing to pause Fuchsia and Angie (who became a ginjirotenshi) periodically throughout the day....! I think they both have a long life in store for them.... On the GameBoy Tamagotchi front: I had my first "good death"; Geer, my hashizotchi of 10 yrs left me an all black egg (like a series 1 JP P2 one), and it was added to the main menu of eggs... I can't wait to hatch it! I am keeping a dated list of all the characters I get, and will more than likely compile them all on their own webpage. :-) Tonight Mitts changed from a masukutchi into a Bill! And I am patiently awaiting Edgar, my tamatchi to change into adulthood. Oh yes, I must mention that I've been playing the GB Tamagotchi game in long mode! I want to take in every detail of this wonderful game--a true time capsule from 1997!
