Part 51
Tuesday, September 1, 2026, 12:03AM: It is the very early hours, but it's finally Later: I had a very good appointment with my psychiatrist this afternoon, and she has put me on a medication regime that should hopefully have me feeling like myself again within the next month! I am feeling much less hopeless now, and I'm excited about what this month has to offer. And if I just continue on with my virtual pets, updating webpages, watching TV, and enjoying quiet time at home, that's perfectly fine (for now). Tamagotchi-wise, things have remained the same with the current group of six that I'm running. Metal Greymon is 24, Cactus Angel is 18, Ginjirotchi is 17, both Mimitchi are 15, and Mametchi is only 12. I don't think I want to hatch any new Tams until some of the demanding ones pass away. It's not easy when they all get demanding at the same time. :-P They listened to Julez's Members Only Live with me early this evening, and then Dani After Dark went live unexpectedly, which was a very nice surprise! We tuned in for that as well. Wednesday, September 2, 2026: It seems my 25-year-old Metal Greymon and my 19-year-old Sabotenshi (Cactus Angel) have become increasingly *more* demanding since yesterday. The Digimon literally empties out all of his hearts within seven minutes--I timed it! :-P Then, of course, I have a very demanding, 18-year-old Ginjirotchi who is true to his age and needs constant attention as well. I guess this is what happens when you hatch so many *so* close together, hehe! I'm not going to hatch any new ones *just* yet. Autumn has officially begun here! The weather has changed to cooler, crisp temperatures, and I put up my orange and purple mini Halloween lights in the living room, the game room, and the bedroom this afternoon. Everything is so cozy, and it's my favorite time of the year. Maybe tomorrow I'll get a pumpkin spice drink from Starbucks or Tim Hortons! .::Sigh::. Just when I thought that Ginjirotchi would make it one more day, he passed away just before his 10:00PM bedtime at the age of 18. He departed full and happy! I'll miss him, but I'll get him back again *someday* soon. I don't have it in me to hatch another Gen1 just now. At least he got to watch two documentaries with us this afternoon/evening, both on Netflix. :-) Bye-bye, Ginji, I'll see you again soon! Thursday, September 3, 2026: I'm getting really overwhelmed with Metal Greymon and Cactus Angel, and they were both making it almost impossible for me to get anything done on the computer today. I know I said I wanted a long-lived secret character, but I had no idea he would be *this* demanding! In addition to those two, my two 17-year-old Mimitchi are also very demanding and got their second illness today, meaning their time is limited. Friday, September 4, 2026: My Metal Greymon turned 27 years old today, and I've now broken my 2016 record of 26 years old! I am very happy about this milestone! I really love the Digimon, even though they are very different from the original Tamagotchi and other incarnations. I'm really glad I decided to raise some of my DigiMon's this summer! There are also so many other versions that I haven't given a lot of my time to, like the Genjintchi, Mothra, and the Nakumara TamaOtch! I will raise *all* of these ones.......eventually, heh! It's Friday night, so my Tams will be keeping me company while I tune into Dani After Dark's YouTube live in 40 minutes! I'm excited! I never would have imagined that I'd become *this* involved in true-crime communities, but I love this group of people. Most of my Tams are very demanding, so I'll be tending to their needs throughout the show, while chatting with group members. Saturday, September 5, 2026: This afternoon/early this evening, I hatched/awakened a new Tam: my lime green w/yellow trim and buttons European Gen2! My newest hatched Tam is listening to "Live with the Verdict Room," and nobody is holding back this evening! But I must confess, I had a lot more fun at Dani After Dark's live last night, with the smaller group of people in the chat. It was just laid-back and enjoyable. Then, tomorrow, we have Nancy's "True Crime & Moonshine" Sunday night stream to look forward to! She hasn't hosted a stream in a while because she has been working on this particular episode for the last number of weeks, so I'm very excited! :-D I used to share a lot more TV and movies with my Tams and virtual pets back in the day, but the last year or so, I've been a lot more true-crime, YouTube oriented! I would love to bring my Tams to the movies this month for old time sake! And a good excuse to get myself out of the apartment! Sunday, September 6, 2026: Well, I seem to have gotten into a good routine with Metal Greymon, and tomorrow he will turn 30 days/years old! Definitely my longest-living DigiMon to date. I have gotten used to his constant beeping for food, and I work down his weight by playing the game while I'm doing other things. I don't have to pay much attention to the game, so it's not too hard. This evening, at 10:38 PM, at the old age of 23, my Cactus Angel passed away on me. He was very old and demanding, but funnily enough, I barely paid any attention to him over the last few days, and he still lived on! I will admit that I muted the sound because the beeping was constant, but I still got the good ending of "Thanks." I am going to restart that Angelgotch sometime this week once some of my demanding Tams go on their way. My Mametchi is 17 years old today, and my two Mimitchi are 20. All three of those Tams will be going back to their home planet *soon*, so I am glad to have my lime green & yellow and purple/blue & red-buttoned Tams, whom I plan to get Mimitchi and Ginjirotchi on, respectively. I will be relieved once the more demanding ones are gone. Perhaps then I can focus on getting out a little this week! :-D Monday, September 7, 2026: Happy Labour Day, Canada! I stopped taking my Cymbalta today, and so far, I've had very minimal side effects, aside from being very tired. I also have counseling early tomorrow morning, so we'll see how that goes. I've gone back to taking Prozac now, which I should have never come off in the first place! Hindsight is *always* 20/20! My friend calls it "medication roulette" :-P Matthew put up some more orange lights for me in the bedroom, which makes everything that much cozier, and he took down the A/C unit for me, as summer is over! I am so happy that my favorite season has finally arrived. I'm also very glad to be raising so many 1997 Tams at this time, since it was the autumn of 1997 when I first discovered Tamagotchis and Nanos, along with all kinds of other virtual creatures. This afternoon, I restarted my silver Angelgotch around 3:30 PM while lounging and watching an episode of Roseanne. I'd like to work toward raising the lucky Sparkling Poop, an exclusive secret character on both the Angelgotch and Tam Angels. Shawn sent me the regime I need to follow. This evening, at 7:54PM, Mimitchi on my tiger-stripe Tam passed away at the age of 21. Then, shortly after that, at 7:55PM, Mimitchi on my blue/black w/silver-writing Tam passed away as well, also at 21. Poor little ones. I won't be restarting either of these Tams. At least they both left behind eggs, which means I took good care of them. Tuesday, September 8, 2026: Now that I am down to a lower number of Tams running, I'm really able to coddle my current group of five, particularly the lime green Gen2, who I hope will become Mimitchi! I also have some news that happened last night after I'd put my computer away for the evening: my purple/blue w/red buttons Gen1 changed into a Ginjirotchi! I have been sick with cymbalta withdrawal, but after taking a full tablet of diazepam, I'm feeling *a lot* better. We are watching the latest news about "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" for Nintendo Switch 2, with a release date of November 5, which is not far away at all! I am so excited for this. I've been playing the N64 and 3DS versions this past week. It's a game I never tire of, and I am SO excited to see the remastered version! :-D Later this evening, we will be attending a live hosted by Dani After Dark, where she will be interviewing George Stimson, the author of "Goodbye Helter Skelter: A New Look at the Tate-LaBianca Murders". Wednesday, September 9, 2026, 12:37PM: Cymbalta discontinuation is still making me feel very unwell, so I've been taking things very slowly and staying close to home, which is nothing new. I watched the Nintendo Direct live just a little while ago, and there were lots of exciting things happening there! My Tams have also been a great comfort, and I've been spending quality time with them throughout all of this. My Mom is going to drop by in a little while, so off I go for now! This evening, my lime green & yellow Gen2 got his final illness and will be changing into his adult form tomorrow--and with any luck, a Mimitchi! My Mametchi is very old and needy at 20 years of age! Thankfully, Ginji is only 7 and not at all demanding. Thursday, September 10, 2026: Today was an extremely eventful day, Tamagotchi-wise! This morning, at 11:29AM, my 21-year-old Mametchi passed away before my eyes. I watched as he laid me an egg, and then, at 11:30AM, I hatched the egg he left behind. I really love this German turquoise & yellow Tam, so I had already decided several days ago that I was going to raise another character on it. It was bittersweet watching Mametchi leave, but I'm excited to see who his successor will be! Next off, at 2:55PM, my lime green & yellow Tam changed into none other than .::drum roll::. Mimitchi! Yay! It feels so right having Mimitchi and Ginjirotchi back together with me at the same time again. They are only a couple of days apart in age, so they will live out most of their virtual lives together, hanging out with me here at home, watching TV and YouTube, working on webpages, playing video games, and all the glorious things a virtual pet gets to do in this household. Even though I've been feeling really miserable, I took my Tams on a short outing to Canadian Tire today. It proved to be not such a great experience, but at least I tried. On the way home, we stopped into EB Games, where I checked out the Tamagotchi selection. Then we made it back to the apartment. Mom drove, and Matt came along too. I feel pretty down. I miss being able to drive my own car, and do my own errands, and live my life. Friday, September 11, 2026, 9:38pm: I woke up early this morning for an appointment, and I was able to drive the car for the first time since coming off Cymbalta! I still had my Mom come along, just in case I ran into any trouble. My appointment went well, and afterward we went to the mall for a small look around before heading back to the apartment. I bought a lovely autumn scented candle from Bath & Body Works! I have been feeling a little unwell medication wise, but I guess it's just part of the process. I will celebrate the good moments of today! I brought all of my Tams along for the journey today, by the way. :-) Saturday, September 12, 2026, 5:26pm: Well, I've been spending lots of quality time with Mimitchi and Ginjirotchi here at home, along with three other Tams. I've been keeping Metal Greymon asleep almost constantly by changing the time to nighttime, hehe. It's *much* easier this way, and he still continues aging and living. He will be 36 tomorrow--my age! I also got the adult form of Taraten again on my Japanese Angelgotch, and if I get him again, I'll get the lucky poop! This is all thanks to Shawn giving me his "cheat sheet"! :-D As for my teal & yellow European clockface Gen1, he's currently a tamatchi, but he will be maturing to adulthood *soon*. I have another European Tam, a white/blue Gen2 97' one, that I've been tempted to hatch, but I am going to hold off for now, hehehe. I know one thing, it has been so nice taking a break from re-release Tamas! Sunday, September 13, 2026: I succumbed to temptation and hatched my white/blue-trim & buttons German 1997 Tam this evening at exactly 5:07 PM. I just can't resist! These German Tams were built well, very similar to the Chinese and Japanese versions, with good-quality screws that don't strip. It's given me *major* temptation to browse eBay for more European Tams, hehehe...! For now, I'm back up to six Tams, and I think I'd like to raise a Hashizotchi as my adult form. This evening, I've been struggling, and hours went by without me checking in on my Tams because of a Facebook bully on Julez's channel. It inevitably led to me completely deactivating my account, and I may keep it that way... I long for simpler days, before social media. I'm not happy tonight. Monday, September 14, 2026, 7:36PM: Well, I am doing a little better since yesterday evening, thankfully. I am taking comfort in my five Tams, and even more comfort in my sleeping Metal Greymon, heheheh! I am leaving the lights on at bedtime on my newest hatched Gen2 Tama, the white/blue-trim & buttons one, in hopes of getting the unhealthy teen. Then, I am expecting my turquoise & yellow clockface to change at any time! As for my adult Tams, Mimitchi, Ginji, and Taraten, they are doing just fine. Ginji is just the smallest bit demanding at 12 years of age, but otherwise, everyone is doing well. :-) They were great company when I did laundry this afternoon! Well, at exactly 8:25 PM, my turquoise & yellow Tam changed into a Masukutchi adult! Yay! I've always had a lot of love for Masu, as he is very unique-looking and very easy to win the game with! I am very happy, and he won't become a secret character, which is fine by me. This evening, I'm sharing the movie "Halloween" (1978) with my group of Tams. This is the first of many scary movies and shows we'll be watching together this season! Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 7:46PM: Well, I very successfully drove to see my friends at the mall late this morning and stayed and hung out with them into the early afternoon. I got really anxious toward the end of the visit because I was worried about afternoon traffic, but I took my time, chatted on the phone with Mom, and finally made it home at 3 PM. :-) I brought my Tams along on the excursion, and they were no worse for wear. I also gave Amy her very own original 1996 Japanese Tamagotchi, since I had one to spare...! :-) This evening, at 6:25 PM, I got the unhealthy teen on my white w/blue trim Gen2, and then, at 7:38 PM, Taraten on my Japanese Angelgotch passed away. I restarted that Angelgotch again, and once again, I'll be going for Taraten. If I get him again, I'll finally get the lucky Sparkling Poop! Once she becomes a maruten, things will calm down a little......They are all keeping me company during Julez's current live. I am tired this evening, and my hips hurt a little from the tension of driving in heavy traffic today, so I'm curled up in bed now, and we'll see what tomorrow brings. I would like to get some things off to the dump, as Matthew reorganized the living room. :-D
