My Ocean Shrine

Below I have made a table with my past and present Ocean characters! I have already made blogs which include the animations on this page, but these characters were special to me in the fact that they took a lot of careful caretaking to get. :)

KeroPynotchi

I actually got KeroPynotchi on my second run with my Ocean. He was hatched on June 23, 2016 from a white/waves design US Ocean. He is the best character on the chart and the way to get him is perfect care and catching all disciplines. This is a character that most people get on their first run with Ocean because of the sheer paranoia of wanting to take the best care possible and not mess up your chances of getting an adult.

He is a very cute little guy but sadly only made it to 7 years. His rank on the growth chart definitely didn't give him any extra brownie points for age. I really loved this little guy...! :)

Taiyakitchi

Taiyakitchi was my first adult on Tamagotchi Ocean. I have had him twice on my Tama, but my first one will always be my favourite. He was hatched on June 16, 2016 from a blue bubbles design US Ocean. When I first got him I was still under the impression that the US and Japanese versions ranked the characters differently, so I thought he was the best adult at that time. The printed instructions on the US version are in fact wrong and the characters rank the same on the US and Japanese Ocean Tamas.

I have gotten this character two times with two different discipline methods which are pretty simple. My first Taiyakitchi was fully disciplined as a Kuragetchi, and had 12 lines of discipline as an Otototchi. The second time I got him, I had been aiming for a different character and left the discipline meter at 10 lines, but I still got Taiyakitchi. This was at a time before I realized that two of the other adults aren't affected by discipline so much as they are weight and water quality. :)

Kaitchi

This little guy was raised on my fourth hatching of an Ocean, a clear purple Japanese Umino Tamagotch. He was hatched on August 28, 2016. This character is very special because he grew from the unhealthy teen Kingyotchi whom I had never had before.

As stated in Angie's Ocean tips, I got this character from Kingyotchi and ignored as many disciplines as I possibly could. On the evening of August 31st he changed into Kaitchi. This is the first Tama I have ever had that goes to bed at 6:00 in the evening. Very lazy little guy he is... :) He changed into Ningyotchi on September 3, 2016.

Ningyotchi

I got Ningyotchi for the first time on the morning of September 3, 2016. She came from the middle character, Kaitchi and it was a wonderful moment when I got her. I didn't have a lot of faith in myself that I would get her, but I just kept taking perfect care of the little clam, caught all of the disciplines and within two days I had the mermaid. She is a very sweet character and from what I can see, the most undemanding one I have seen yet on Ocean! She departed at age 7 on September 4, a very short life lived.

Kujiratchi

This is a character who is very near and dear to my heart. He is the character that is on the sticker of the box and ever since I got my Ocean Tamas, I always wanted to get him. On Friday, September 9, 2016 I got Kujiratchi for the first time ever on my Tama. I followed the advice from Angie and maxed his weight out to 99 units ten minutes before he was to change. It worked and at 12pm sharp he changed into the sweet whale. This is probably my most favorite character on Ocean, just something truly adorable and sweet about him.
