Part 38 Thursday, June 19, 2025: I'm actually updating my pages all on my own. :-) It's hard work but I'm doing it, and I have my friends Shawn and Katherine to thank since they told me giving up was not an option. <3 I downloaded two of my re-release Tamagotchi Connections this week. First off we have my rainbow Tam, a Gen6 Debatchi named Gray. Then I picked out my pink ice-cream Tam, a gen5 Priroprilitchi named Kane. I like having at least two Tam connections so they can interact with each other. I took them with me on a short walk through the woods this afternoon, followed by a walk through middle cove beach this evening. I'm looking forward to seeing what Kane grows up to be since he's currently in the teen stage. Off we go for now -- going to play some Pokemon, Animal Crossing or Zelda before it's time for bedtime. Friday, June 20, 2025: I made a little more progress today with my webpages! I managed to update my Re-release Tam Connection page (character history). Gray and Kane came along on a shopping trip to Foodland early this afternoon. Oh, I forgot to mention the matchmaker came for Gray yesterday - he married a Dorotchi and had a baby boy. :-) I attached homemade beaded strings on both of my connections! They look so good! This afternoon I at 4:21pm I hatched my brand new orange bursts Connection! It's a girl and I named her Nola. She is currently in the child stage as a Mizutamatchi! I connected her with Kane several times this evening. Perhaps they will get married when they are old enough? This literally took me forever to write this much because I've been trying to get the hang of html and coding.... Maybe more tomorrow! Saturday, June 21, 2025: This morning Gray was gone when I woke up. I named his son Troy and he's a kutchitamtchi now. This marks Gen7 for my rainbow tam! I'll be at Gen10 pretty soon. :-) Aside from that today has been a quiet, hot day. I took all three Tams to Foodland (in my 3DS case) and then for a quick drive this evening when I was craving an ice-cap from Tim's! I've been fiddling with the html codes, and dare I say it - enjoying myself. :-) I just put Troy and Nola to sleep early (7:30PM) via turning the lights out. Kane will keep me company until he falls asleep at 9-10pm... can't remember his exact bedtime. I know he sleeps till 10am which is fine by me. Sunday, June 22, 2025: This morning I didn't wake up until 10AM, and left my Tams in the game room while I slept. I'm going to do the same tonight I think... I awoke today to two changes: Kane became a pynokotchi and Nola became the healthy teen, obotchi! Then a little later on Troy became an obotchi too! :-D I love them - all characters from osu/mesu. The Tams got to tag along on a shopping trip to Pet Smart this afternoon! We bought some cat treats for Binks as well as a little toy. :-) I would have bought more but really trying to rein in my spending these days.... Anxiety has been bad as usual but hopefully better times to come, plus a visit with my psychatrist on the 26th! I'm glad to have my Tams, video games and webpages to help pass the time, but I'd really do better getting out more.... But I just can't right now... maybe after my appointment Thursday I will make an effort to get out more. Monday, June 23, 2025: I've been replaying a lot of different games (various pokemon titles, zelda, animal crossing and stardew) but it's just not the same once you've already beaten the game... I go back wanting that same magic and it's just not there. No news to report Tamagotchi wise today. I might bring them with me when we go out for dinner later to Swiss Chalet. :-) Tuesday, June 24, 2025: Nola and Troy are still in the obotchi teen stage. They are SO cute -- I don't want them to grow up! Kane is 5 years old and will be matchmaker ready very soon! However, I want him to mate with Nola when she is old enough to marry. :-) The Tams have been watching me play a brand new (to me) video game since last night: "Spyro The Dragon", originally a PlayStation 1 Game, remastered for the Nintendo Switch in recent years. It is an *amazing* game that Shawn has been persuading me to play for years now! Actually, I purchased this game on sale back in 2022 and only now getting around to playing it. I have a feeling I will get many hours of enjoyment out of this series of games like I have with Zelda. :-) I just 100% complete the Cliff Town level. :-) Off we go to try out a new level. Wednesday, June 25, 2025: Well I had three changes happen today! First off, I woke up to find Nola had changed into a Tarakotchi...Mr. Stinky Feet! Then the matchmaker came for Kane. I decided to let him mate (he's too old for Nola) and now he has a baby boy. Next off, Troy changed into a memetchi! I've been connecting Troy and Nola, building their friendship, playing games, sending gifts... and in a couple of days maybe they'll have a baby. :-) My experiences with my Tam Connection this month have been relaxing and enjoyable... I love my originals but the connection generation is undeniable in its nostalgia. :-) I am *thinking* about buying a neon black/purple Connection from game stop..... Must stop myself, hehe. I played more "Spryo The Dragon" this evening! Such a great game. :-) I've gotten into the habit of staying up late the last couple of nights and playing to the wee hours of the morning...! Thankfully my Tams haven't suffered from me sleeping past 11am, hehe. :-) Oh yes, I forgot to mention I am going to name my future Tams after the different dragons I've saved/collected so far in the game! Saturday, June 28, 2025: Kane departed yesterday and left his son, Ivor. I napped quit a bit yesterday so I didn't get around to raising the baby until late afternoon. Ivor was a kutchitamatchi (child) for the last 24 hours and then became a Hinatchi late this afternoon. :-) Troy and Nola finally got married this morning and had baby boys! I will be reliant on the matchmaker for these three now... I am still very tempted to go buy that other connection, hehe... And of course I have my clear retro one, but I've decided I'm going to gift that one to my friend Amy. :-)
Pink Flamingo changed into a.... Ginjirotchi! I missed him so much! :-) He's been hanging out with Lumpy and watching me play more "Spyro the Dragon". I beat the first game and have now moved onto "Spyro the Dragon: Ripto's Rage", the second game, originally released in 1999. The virtual pets will be watching *a lot* of these games over the course of the summer.... I purchased the original Spyro the Dragon for PlayStation off eBay earlier today. :-) I'm so happy to finally be playing this wonderful game! They've also been watching various YouTube videos, podcasts, and re-runs.
Yesterday at exactly 5:00pm a new Tam was born! I hatched my brand new ocean design Gen2 and it's absolutely gorgeous! I've given him the name "Ocean"! I didn't realize just how beautiful this Tam really was until I took it out of the packaging. I'd not planned on hatching anything until after my friends went back to Toronto, but I just couldn't wait. My little Ocean came along on *a lot* of driving adventures today. :-) I was very busy driving my friend (China) around various places. She is newly married, so we were mostly talking about the wedding and all the fun things that happened over the last week.... :-) She knows about my virtual pet collection so I was able to have Ocean with me while we went about our day. I have Ocean's time set two hours behind so I can sleep in tomorrow, hehe...!
Thursday, July 31, 2025: Ozzy, my Bitty Kitty GigaPet was born last night at 7:33pm! He's really cute, and much easier to care for than Lumpy, my floppy frog was...! I hope he lives a long time. :-) Ocean changed into the healthy teen first thing this morning, a normal change. I've not taken my eyes off him since I'm hoping for a Mimitchi adult-form. :-) They've been watching a lot of Netflix and YouTube with us, and today they got to peak out at GameStop and PetSmart. I actually kept Ocean out for the entire time we were in PetSmart, but I had to get out of there fast as I had my eye on an *adorable* teddybear hamster. :-) I could have taken him home in a second... I'm at full capacity -- Binks and Dale (gerbil) is enough.... for now. ;-) Oh, I almost forgot to mention the *insane* thunder and lightening storm that happened last night! Ocean and Ozzy were asleep for this, as was I until a rumble of thunder literally shook the building. I've not experienced a thunder storm of this magnititude since August of 2021, shortly before moving out of our rented home of 5 years. I got out of bed, and stayed up for a good 20-30 minutes watching until I was too tired, and slept through the remainder of the storm. Things have cooled off considerably since this happened which is fine by me. :-) |
