June 2019

Monday, June 3, 2019:  I had a wonderful change occur yesterday afternoon when I pulled into the driveway. I took out Codie and Jelph to see that Jelph had become a Ginjrotchi! Boy am I happy to see this little guy! And what a surprise I might add since I really didn't pay special care to Jelph at all. Either way I'm thrilled as that really brightened up my sunny Sunday. :)  In other thoughts Gev changed into a Young Mimitchi when I took him off pause after work this evening -- another surprise since again no real special care given. The change I was most expecting was Codie who changed into a Tarakotchi and that was no surprise considering I don't pause my baby blue Tama and he definitely suffered a few times this weekend while I was sleeping in. ;)

Work was busy today and Codie kept me company throughout the day. I left all the others at home since things aren't getting any less busy at the office lately.

Thursday, June 6, 2019: Codie and Jelph really haven't been involved in much beyond me coming and going from work and relaxing at home.  Gev has gotten no time off pause during this work week... But perhaps this weekend I will have more time for all of them.  I've even been throwing around the idea of hatching my Keitai Kaitsu... :)

Tomorrow we are having a pot luck at work. I hope it all runs smoothly and that I can be out of that office by 4PM and begin my weekend. :)

Sunday, June 9, 2019: This afternoon I've been home alone playing Animal Crossing, caring for Tamas and watching YouTube videos. It has been such a low key day that I decided why not hatch a new Tama? So I took my white and red/teal designed Japanese Keitai Kaitsu out of its new packaging and hatched it. It is a really gorgeous Tama with a teal charm/chain on the side. It was hatched just shortly after 3PM I got off to a bit of a rocky start with this Tama because the buttons were REALLY slow to respond.  When I played the 'get notes' game I noticed the buttons worked perfectly, but then they would go right back to being slow again. I decided to hit reset and download my character back and miracle of miracles, the buttons are working perfectly. :) Keko is a female and I used the Japanese chart I found online to name her according to the alphabet.

As for Codie, he is a Tarakotchi with a baby girl at his side. Blue Tama comes everywhere with me and depending on how busy I am this week I may try and bring Keko the Ketai with me. :) Jelph my Ginjirotchi is still waiting for a mate, and Gev is spending a little time off pause this afternoon.

I don't think there are very many different characters on the Keitai but it is certainly different from that of a V1 or V2. :) I think I will enjoy running this Tama! The next one after the Ketai is the Akai which has red pixels. :)

Another thing I must mention is the fact that I tried running a Ketai exactly ten years ago but that was during a time when real life took over extremely fast and I never really got to experience the Tama.  I hope I have a better start with the Ketai this time around.

Update: I think when my Ketai was having button issues it was actually working in slow motion for the first hour.  The babitchi stage took well over two hours and Keko just changed into a Hitodetchi.  I believe the clock was definitely going in slow motion and this is why the buttons were so unresponsive and the babitchi stage took so long.

Tuesday, June 11, 2019: Codie was gone when I woke up this morning. Work has been crazy so I haven't gotten around to raising the baby girl yet. I'm going to name her June tomorrow.

Even though work has been crazy (and trust me it is),  I've had Keko the Ketai with me for every single moment of my work days. She changed into a Ringotchi (the little apple character) early yesterday evening. I think I may need to make a little page with pictures and some notes that I've taken on Ketai so far. It's *really* cute! Just a few little things that stick out differently than my other Connection Tams that really warms my heart with this one. :) Something I really love is the traveling salesman, and the games!!! The games are SO easy and cute. Even some of the beeps are different.  I will write more about it when I have time.

Wednesday, June 12, 2019, 4:39PM: I named and raised June into a little Marutchi just a few moments ago. She had a wonderful babitchi stage and now I have my healthy Marutchi. :) Keko is still a Ringotchi but I expect a change soon since I haven't been pausing her at all. I find the Ketai is extremely easy to care for and it's a good thing because today I realized that snacks do not fill happy hearts on this Tama. Can you believe that? I managed to go the whole morning without playing with Keko and by lunch hour she had one happy heart missing. When I tried feeding her a snack, I went back to check the health meter to see it had not been filled.  So I've been having to play the game, or catch her pooping in order to fill happy hearts.  Luckily I'm after catching her in the pooping act several times since she was a baby and that keeps her very happy and healthy.

I have been using Twitter a lot lately and I came across my friend Elana's other twitter account that she used specifically for Tamas. I'm going to possibly look for wisdom in naming my Ketai as she listed many of the Japanese names she used on that twitter account. I really need to touch base with Elana...!

5:02PM: I'm waiting for my McDonalds to arrive and the traveling salesman just beeped at me. I bought some kind of a sweet treat for Keko... I wonder if that will fill a happy heart? :)

Thursday, June 13, 2019: Last night shortly after I finished updating, Keko changed into a Korotchi which is someone whom I've had several times already on the V2. But that's no problem as I am still really enjoying the Ketai. As for June, she changed into an Oniontchi earlier this evening. I haven't gotten around to playing with any of my other Tams today as I'm only now just getting home.  Maybe I'll have more time tomorrow. Either way I will definitely have June and Keko with me wherever I go tomorrow.

Saturday, June 15, 2019: Keko makes a little beep whenever she poops! I love this feature they added to the Ketai. So cute! I've been trying to take as good care possible of June so I pause her from time to time.... Maybe I'll get lucky and get Mimitchi for my adult.... But I feel I'm headed for Memetchi instead. I'm hanging out over at Matt's today and I have Jelph the Ginjirotchi here with me as well. We are watching the movie The Wrecking Crew (1968) which will be somewhat recreated in the upcoming movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, coming to theaters next month. :)

Tuesday, June 18, 2019: Jelph, my Ginjirotchi of 7 years gave birth to a baby girl this evening. And while I had hoped against hope that June would grow up to be healthy, she instead became a Tarakotchi... Little Miss stinky feet... Oh well I love them all.

Keko gave birth to a baby girl as well but that was a couple of days ago. Ketai can only mate with other Ketai Tams so this one will always rely on the matchmaker...!

Sunday, June 23, 2019: It's been a while and Keko left a couple of nights ago.  I never got around to raising the baby until just now. I've named her Seta and she is still in the Babitchi stage.

June and Jelph are still with their baby girls due to pausing. Oh yeah I never even wrote about the fact that June had a baby girl. Busy busy busy.

Seta just changed into Kuribotchi a few moments ago so we shall see who my teen and adult will be on this girl. :) I'm here racking my brains on whether or not to buy a used New Nintendo 3DS Limited Mario edition.... Ohhhh my brain.

Monday, June 24, 2019: Jelph was gone when I got out of bed today but I paused my red V2 before leaving the house for work.  I just got home and I've decided to name the baby girl Chae. She is a Hitodetchi sleeping away in her futon now.  I expect June to be following in the same footsteps as Jelph later this evening so I'll have another baby girl to raise tomorrow who I think I'm going to name Hexa.

Seta is not as easy to win the games with as Keko was... I wonder why that is. I tend to play both the notes and ball game equally but I am way better at notes.

Tuesday, June 25, 2019: As predicted, June was gone when I woke up this morning. I raised Hexa while I worked away at my desk and by mid morning she was a Marutchi. Hexa and Chae are sleeping toddlers at the moment, but Seta is staying up late.  The Keitai is a Japanese Tam that does not pause like American Tams. I've been pausing Seta through the clock function in the morning and when I get home from work I don't set the correct time.  SO I have a little late night partner here with me now. :) Oh by the way, Seta changed into a Young Mametchi earlier this evening! I can't wait to see who my adult will be!

Sunday, June 30, 2019: I finally made it to my long Canada Day weekend and I've had plenty of time to relax. I haven't been able to update since Tuesday because I've been busy house sitting for Matthew and looking after the kitten, Binks. Hexa changed into a Hinotamatchi the other day.  Chae has remained home on pause in the toddler stage.  And last but not least, Seta changed into a Kutchipatchi for her adult form. I am soooo happy! It's been a while since I had sweet Kutchi. :)
